Darryl Sande graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Forest Technology diploma in 1989. In 1990, Darryl joined Weyerhaeuser as a Forestry and Logging Supervisor. In 1995, Mr. Sande took education leave to pursue a Forest Business Management degree from the University of Alberta. Mr. Sande spent 17 years with Weyerhaeuser in both Alberta and Saskatchewan in various forest management roles. Darryl was in charge of managing the company’s forest tree improvement program and was later promoted to manage the environmental management system and forest certification programs for the company’s forestry operations in Saskatchewan. He has participated in various national working groups related to environmental management and forest certification. After his career with Weyerhaeuser, Darryl started an environmental and forestry consulting company specializing in green technology. In November 2014, he was hired as a Senior Planner/Operations Manager with Forsite in their Prince Albert office.
Aubrey graduated from SASK Polytechnic with a diploma in Integrated Resource Management. Aubrey has 4 years of experience conducting silviculture surveys and inventory data collection. She also has experience with data collection and data management with the Saskatchewan Conservation Data Center.
Lawrence has over 15 years of experience in natural resource management. Lawrence has a diploma in Natural Resource Management Technology from the University College of the North, The Pas, Manitoba. Lawrence has experience as a research technician, logging supervisor, and an area supervisor with Tolko in Manitoba.
Patty-Anne has over 10 years of silviculture and forest seedling nursery experience. She is a competent data collector and attentive to detail.
